There is a challenge for each of us when the fire comes to test our faith. It is the refining fire that truly calls our bluff, asking, "Did you really mean the songs you sang in church on Sunday about the God you claim to know and love?"

When I wrote Bella and the Sword of the Spirit, I did not fully grasp at the time that it would be a book I would need to lean on myself. The book speaks poetically about establishing God’s Word in our hearts to counter the lies of the enemy. Despite the enemy’s tactics through others, I have had to stand firm in the truth of what God has declared about me as His child: I am loved, and I am valuable.

This is the same truth I deeply desire for others to know and hold on to as well.

I desire to see lives restored.
I desire to speak life into those who have been met with injustice.
I desire to encourage and help nurture the seed of a vision so that it may take root and come to fruition.
I desire to build up the faith of others so that it can move mountains.
I desire to fan the flame of excitement towards purpose, enabling people to use their talents and gifts to bless others.
I desire for children and adults to understand the battle they are in and, in doing so, put on the whole armour of God so that they may fight the good fight of faith and claim their prize.
